Employers and corporate

At WorkFocus Australia, workplace rehabilitation is our sole focus, and we are deeply passionate about it. We understand the importance of supporting Australian businesses, from large multinationals to small enterprises, and we love to see them flourish. Our mission is to help you achieve this by ensuring your workforce is well-supported when accidents or illnesses occur.

We assist your employees with their recovery to meet their health, work, wellbeing, and life goals. We understand that health and work are integral to a full and productive life. When either is missing, it becomes challenging to enjoy life to the fullest. That’s why we work with you to deliver positive Return to Work and employment outcomes for workers and job seekers across Australia, always keeping in mind the power of work in a sustainable recovery.

Of course, there are times when a return to work is not feasible as a near-term goal. In these cases, we support individuals to focus on their health, wellbeing, and life goals, building a return to better health and putting them in the best possible position to embrace future work opportunities.

Since 1989, we have provided a range of services to minimise the social, physical, psychological, and financial impact of workplace injury and illness and to maximise the health benefits of good work.

Our services

At WorkFocus Australia, we offer ongoing return to work services for all workers’ compensation claims.

Our service delivery is based on the biopsychosocial model, addressing the health, wellbeing, social/life, and work aspects of an injured employee’s recovery pathway. This evidence-based practice focuses on the health benefits of good work, ensuring your employees are supported throughout their recovery.

We provide a culturally respectful, tailored approach through our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Return to Work Service.
This service acknowledges and incorporates family networks and history, community engagement, and individual-led program design to improve outcomes for Indigenous employees.

We understand that early intervention can significantly reduce the impact of workplace injuries.

Our services prior to claim lodgement include Worksite Assessments, Risk Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, Warm Up for Work, and Manual Handling Training. These proactive measures help minimise delays and the overall impact of claims, supporting a healthier and safer workplace.

To supplement return to work, our bespoke physical health service, Be Active, provides a range of programs to support employees in their recovery and encourage active participation in life and work.

Additionally, MindHub, our tailored psychological service, aims to educate, support, and empower employees experiencing primary and secondary psychological conditions.

Let us help your business thrive by supporting your most valuable asset – your people.
